Christmas Workshop until Epiphany

Although we’ve read in Tove Jansson’s lovely short story The Fir Tree that the Moomins don’t celebrate Christmas, the Moomin Museum’s Studio is busy crafting soft, Christmas-themed decorations. You can make a gorgeous ornament with just a few stitches. Give a personal touch to your ornament by adding buttons, glitz and glam, or embroider some patterns on it. Most of the materials are recycled. Various festive instructions for different skill levels are included.

The festive nonstop workshop continues until Epiphany and is included in the museum admission.

The Moomin Museum Studio is open daily from noon to 4pm. Admission is free of charge to all museum visitors.

N.B.! The Studio is occasionally closed for private bookings.

You can combine a workshop with a guided tour of the museum. Check out our workshop themes here.
